Painting with a big brush and lots of paint

I painted Old Times near Agate Colorado right off the Lowland exit. The subject matter comes from the old historic Thayer farm. It was a cold day when I painted this, and my son sat in the Jeep creating his own version as I stood outside and painted.

Recently, I went through my archives of field studies and selected a few to offer on eBay as auction items, and Old Times is one of the last. eBay is a fickle beast and you never know you might get this painting at a substantial savings from gallery retail prices.

Please hurry as the eBay auction ends soon!

( for those new to eBay you will have to register to buy but you can search for the art by entering JR Monks in the search area)
