Painting with a big brush and lots of paint
Sometimes Painting in the Field Isn't About the Painting: It is about the Field

Lately I have really focused on my process and the resulting paintings I create, but the other day I realized how lucky I am to be able to even be out there, outdoors, and I took time to document just a few of the things I often take for granted. It really is about the journey and there is a reason I always thank you all for taking the journey with me. I know it isn't possible for all of you to go out and explore, to see first hand the beauty a short way from all of our front porches so I want to share with you these pictures.
Enjoy them, take time to enjoy the day and Happy Father's Day. I know my Dad sure had a lot to do with me living the life I live with the wilderness and art! Checking all those fences and cows paid off in strange ways.
Thank you for taking the journey with me.
