Painting with a big brush and lots of paint
Thank You!
Original Watercolor by JR Monks Give Away at the Squash Blossom Gallery
I want to send out a big thank you to all those who came out to the Squash Blossom Gallery last night for our event. The gallery was packed with old friends and new, and we really enjoyed meeting so many new art enthusiasts. It is refreshing to see so many people out on a Friday night enjoying all the different art.
I brought along one original watercolor to be given away in a drawing to thank everyone in attendance, and I am excited to say that we drew a name for my original watercolor and notified the winner this afternoon!
The Squash Blossom is simply a stand out gallery, the owner John Cogswell knows his business and has been so very supportive of artists over the years, the staff last night made the evening great, and it was awesome to meet the new members of the team!
Stay tuned as I plan on hosting an event at my studio in Limon later this summer. I am off to do some field painting the next few days and I will post my efforts in the near future. If yo missed out on the free painting be sure to sign up for my newsletter on my website because I give away art occasionally to only those on the mailing list!
As always thank you for taking the journey with me.
