Bleak Sky Shanty

Bleak Sky Shanty is about struggle and optimism. Pioneers and homesteaders faced incredibly poor odds and often saw hard work and patience rewarded with no rain, set backs, and even death. Somehow though those who made it maintained an optimistic outlook in the face of struggle and possible defeat. I think there are great lessons to be harvested from the history of the west and Bleak Sky Shanty is my homage to the struggle and the eternal optimism.
